Apostille for documents issued by the Ministry of Education of the Russian Federation

Apostille on educational documents, such as certificates of secondary education, diplomas of secondary specialized and higher education, supplements to them, academic certificates, diplomas of a candidate of sciences, etc., issued on the territory of the Russian Federation or on the territory of the RSFSR during the existence of the USSR, can only be affixed to educational documents of state standard and requires an apostille by the authorities of the Ministry of Education of the Russian Federation.

To affix an apostille on these educational documents, you must provide the originals of these documents along with a notarized power of attorney from the owner of the documents. We will be happy to help you draw up this power of attorney in Vienna, legalize it in court, and arrange a legal translation certified by the Russian consulate for use in Russia. This service will cost about 150 Euros, depending on the volume of the power of attorney. The terms for affixing an apostille in the Russian Federation are approximately 47 days, and the cost of the service is 450 euros for 1 set, including state duty.
