The Chinese visa application form
must be filled out in German or English. We are pleased to offer you our

A valid passport that has at least two blank facing pages and must be valid for at least 6 months after the expiration of the Chinese visa.

Two passport photos measuring 3.5 x 4.5 cm. Only with a white background, without a
headdress and dark glasses.

Direct invitation from a Chinese business partner (submission date must not exceed
3 months from the date of issue of the invitation).
The invitation must be issued on the letterhead
of the inviting Chinese organization and contain the following information:
a. Information about the applicant: name, date of birth,
gender, citizenship, passport number, position in an Austrian organization
b. Information about the planned trip: time period and exact
information about the recipient, frequency of entry, route, exact description of the business
relationship between the companies
c. Information about the receiving company: name and address,
telephone number, name and position of the signatory, company stamp
If you are a citizen of another country (not Austria), you will need an Austrian registration
issued no earlier than the last three months or a residence permit (valid for at least 180 days).

Important information about the Chinese business visa
Please Note: In 2019, the Chinese Consular Office introduced
a mandatory fingerprinting requirement for Chinese visa applications. Our colleagues will meet you at the
Chinese institution, help you clear all the formalities and organizational issues on the spot, and also
provide assistance with the fingerprinting procedure.
At the same time, if you already have a biometric visa to China (it is easy to identify it by your photo
on it - old-style visas to China were issued without photos), then within five years from the date of receipt
of the first biometric visa to China - you do not have to take new fingerprints. Also, children under fourteen
do not need to be fingerprinted to obtain a Chinese visa, this rule also applies to people over 71 years of age.
Important! A regular entry business visa to China is issued for
business purposes in China for a period of up to one year. At the same time, the time of continuous stay
under this business visa to China will be limited to 30, 60, 90, 180 days.
A business visa to China is valid for the time specified in the invitation and can be single or multiple
entry and is valid from the moment of issue.
